| back from camp(: hmmm, although this year's campsite was not up to our expectations, the swimming pool had no water polo, and there were swimming lessons conducted in those pools, so we could hardly play, the drinking water in my room was yellow, and many other stuff, BUT, God's presence was very very real. God was right there, He was there with us in that ballroom. God spoke, either through people, visions, etc. during the testimony time today, people started sharing on how God spoke to them, how God answered their prayers so quickly, so amazingly, without them even expecting it. people might say that it's just a coincidence, but when one after another stands up to share, it can't be coincidental anymore can it?(: when i was leaving the campsite, God put a thought into my mind, the part of the bible where moses was up on the mountain, then the people below made idols, then God was angry, then God told them that they could have the land filled with milk and honey, but God's presence will not be there, but moses refused, saying that he would go only where God's presence is. then yea, it was like God telling me, would you rather a nice campsite where everything is nice and fun, and the facilities were rocking, or this camp where although the facilities weren't as good, but God's presence was there. after this camp, clearly i would choose the latter(: it's really amazing, how God used people to tell us what He wanted to tell us. it's just exactly like a 2-way conversation lah. that was how real He was. but on the other hand, yea, in the presence of the holy God, like what joash shared, he was dang scared, cause God was so close, and he felt that he was unclean to be so close to God. yea(: i miss camp(: |
